The Sustainability Roundtable

will be held this Friday, November 2nd from 11am-2pm in the Crane Room. Please join us for an opportunity to engage in a discussion with the many student groups on campus and explore ideas and initiatives related to sustainability in the university community. This event will also serve as a forum for the President's Sustainability Council to share what they have been working on and get feedback from the Tufts community.

Brunch will be served! In the spirit of sustainability, please bring your own reusable mug. You must RSVP here if you plan on attending--please RSVP by Tuesday, October 3rd. We hope to see you there!

Shoe recycling

Tufts Recycles is now collecting shoes for shoe recycling!

If you have any old or unwanted footwear, drop them off at the fancy new recycling station under the stairs at Cousen's Gym. Let's try to breathe new life into that polyurethane and ethylene vinyl acetate and keep them out of landfills.

Environmental house

Sustainable Action Squad (SAS)'s big campaign this semester is to get the university to create an environmental house on campus. This house would function much like other special interest housing, and would be a great place for like-minded people to live together and promote sustainability and environmental awareness in daily life. Please fill out this quick survey to support SAS in this endeavor!
